In 2018, Google began experimenting with a way for searchers to ask Google questions by hand. It was launched at Google India in 2019 as a Question Hub, a way for searchers to notify Google when they can’t find the content they’re looking for.
This is now being tested by Google search in the United States as a way to determine the content gap for queries related to COVID, Google’s spokesperson for Search Engine Land.
What does it look like. Dan Leibson sent me an example of this via Twitter this morning. But it’s in the US and not India, so I asked Google why anyone in the US sees this. Google said it is a limited pilot in the United States for some COVID -related questions that it is trying to understand the internal gap.
