The Steel City is still rooted in its industrial roots, but Pittsburgh is finally shedding its blue-collar image. A cluster of universities such as Carnegie Mellon and the University of Pittsburgh infuses the city with a refreshing energy. Many artists hail from Pittsburgh, including Broadway star Patti LuPone, the late pop master Andy Warhol, and children's TV host "Mister" Fred Rogers.
